Kseniya Kawko

Kseniya Kawko is a producer and engineer specialized in classical music and jazz. She holds Master of Music degrees from two world-renowned audio programs: Sound Recording, McGill University (Montréal, Canada) and Musikregie / Tonmeister, Hochschule für Musik Detmold (Germany). Kseniya is a winner of multiple AES Student Recording competitions, the recipient of the 2018 Bruce Swedien Award “Music First!” (AES Educational Foundation) and John R.E. Bradley Prize. Additionally to her activities at msm-studios Kseniya is a lead sound engineer at the Jazz Club Unterfahrt, part of the Kyberg Studio team and independent recording producer and engineer.

Her references include Vienna Philharmonic, Singapore Symphony Orchestra, JACK Quartet, Sirius Quartet, Quadro Nuevo and Yellowjackets. Kseniya worked with musicians such as Chris Potter, Fred Hersch, Bob Reynolds, Bill Frisell, David Murray, Kris Davis and Chief Adjuah.

From 2017 immersive audio is an important part of Kseniya’s professional activity. Her experience includes recording and mixing in formats like Auro-3D, Ambisonics, Dolby Atmos, Sony 360 and Binaural.
